The present research was referenced with authors such as: Torelló (2013), in Espinoza and Pérez (2015) and Durán. (2016). The main objective was to propose the design of a Specialised Technical Training Plan for Teachers in Citizen Security and Prison Services at the Universidad Nacional Experimental de la Seguridad in the state of Táchira. The key informants were: 4 full-time teachers, 1 Head of Teacher Development, all attached to the University’s Táchira Training Centre and with more than 4 years of experience. The data collection technique used was the survey, with the instrument being an open questionnaire with 06 items. The information obtained was processed through the diagnosis of the units of analysis using the triangulation technique.
