University education in Venezuela increasingly demands the improvement of teachers, so that they are able to face in a creative way the problems that arise in their professional performance. One of the most acute and complex problems that must be faced at present is to respond to the qualitative transformation of the university, raising the question of the quality of education, which has motivated a constant debate in the university sector. Today, with the changes that have taken place in the universities based on a new model of how and why to do research, as the basis of knowledge, the educational aspect plays a determining role in order to continue guaranteeing the construction of a country with a fundamental objective: the formation of the new human being required by the Venezuela of the present and the future.In relation to the Universidad Politécnica Territorial del Zulia (UPTZ) education should be seen as a morally desirable activity with purposes that lead to cultural and social transformation, therefore, research and intellectual creation as unique processes.
