Educators, as producers of knowledge and builders of habits and customs that schoolchildren will follow throughout their lives, can also play a role in developing healthy habits and maintaining good health, as long as they are trained in health education, care, promotion and prevention for schoolchildren and those who make up this scenario. This is a descriptive-exploratory study with a quantitative and qualitative approach, whose sample consisted of 47 teachers from public and public schools. The aim was to analyse their perception and performance in health education and the collaboration of nurses in schools.
