At present, entities still develop very complex processes manually, so it is necessary to automate them in order to facilitate the work to man, to perform it in shorter periods of time with higher quality, avoiding errors in the results obtained. The automation of management systems is a way to increase the efficiency of the processes developed in the entities. In the Provincial Directorate of Economy and Planning of Ciego de Avila, the request and allocation of food, material and energy resources to the entities of the province is controlled manually. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a computer tool that can automate the process, streamline it, reduce the effort of planners and have the information stored correctly and securely in a database. In the research, a deep revision is made about the historical process through which the allocation and control of resources in Cuba and mainly in the province of Ciego de Avila has gone through. It is deepened in the informatics tools used to develop similar management systems.
