This book is the result of the final year of a postgraduate course in People Management. It investigated the importance of the role of the manager within an organisation, as well as the existing concern regarding their continuous training. Seeking to present the role of the manager, how he can carry out his work effectively, with the aim of presenting the importance of his performance within an organisation and verifying that his work is responsible for its success. Analysing the manager’s actions in pursuit of his company’s success, we realise that his role is fundamental. He is expected to be able to solve the problems arising from the day-to-day running of the company, he needs to be able to develop an action plan for his employees and always motivate them.
