My dear friends, I present to you the result of a series of research studies into the military powers of the Chief Executive. To carry it out, I have mainly referred to the constitutional history of France and the United States of America. I also took a special look at the constitutional system of Great Britain, because of the reciprocal loyalty that has always existed between these nations.This work is far from perfect. But in doing so, I wanted to contribute to the advancement of a branch of public law little known to jurists in my own country: comparative constitutional law.Happy reading!
