In this book, we focus on the analysis of syntactic relationships between the subject personal pronoun and the verb in Spanish and Baule (the Kwa language of Côte d’Ivoire), in order to show the similarities or dissimilarities between the two languages. To do this, we first presented the theoretical and methodological framework of the study. We then proceeded to a syntactic description of the relationship between the subject personal pronoun and the verb in Spanish. In addition, we focused on the relationship between the subject personal pronoun and the verb in Baule syntax, through a linguistic description and contrast with Spanish. At this level, our investigations focused on a syntactic contrastive analysis, strictly speaking, of the relationships between the subject personal pronoun and the verb in Spanish and Baule, where syntactic dissimilarities were highlighted.
