The international abduction of children and adolescents carried out by one of their relatives is a topic that is little covered in the Brazilian legal world. This is because it was only with the advent of globalization that communication failures between countries began to emerge. There are countless consequences for children and adolescents who are removed from their country of residence and from daily contact with one of their parents. It is therefore essential to study the consequences and the measures that have been adopted between countries, in order to help repatriate children and adolescents to their national territory, as well as to their families, which is the subject of this study.
