The book is the result of a research project that aimed to contribute to identifying and understanding the role of the designer in multidisciplinary teams and the skills needed to play this increasingly strategic role in organizations in today’s complex and interconnected society. Through a case study in a large Brazilian technology company, and using techniques such as in-depth interviews and focus groups, it was possible to identify the technical, behavioral and relational skills mobilized by digital designers to work in teams developing technology projects such as websites, systems and applications. This study is aimed at digital design professionals, students and managers who are somehow related to designers and want to better understand the role and skills of these professionals in teams.
