The relationship between family and school must be a frank one in which both parties can together overcome social and/or family barriers in favour of a quality and productive education for the student, because the school environment is the stage for various social conceptions that must be debated on a daily basis. Bringing the family together in the school environment opens up the opportunity for the school to better understand the reality in which each child lives and how this interferes with their learning and well-being at school, and vice versa.
