The book "Effect of Credit Supply Among Arable Crop Farmers in Oyo State" investigates the impact of socio-economic factors on the supply of credit to arable crop farmers in Oyo State, Nigeria. The research aims; to identify the socio-economic characteristics of arable crop farmers, to determine the extent to which these farmers experience credit rationing and to analyze the influence of socio-economic factors on credit rationing.The study employs a combination of descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression analysis, using data collected through questionnaires from the farmers. Farmers’ socio-economic characteristics are critical for commercial banks when making credit rationing decisions. Characteristics such as farming experience and contacts with extension agents positively influence credit rationing decisions, while age and household size have a negative influence.These findings highlight the importance of socio-economic factors in credit supply and the need for targeted strategies to improve credit accessibility and utilization among arable crop farmers in Oyo State.
