The monograph presents the results of the research of master’s thesis. The monograph is devoted to the problems of foreign language education in higher technical education. The authors introduce the developed model of formation of foreign-language communicative competence of students of non-language specialties in the process of independent work. The set of pedagogical conditions is revealed and a teaching and methodical manual for students of non-language specialty is developed, providing the effectiveness of the model realization of formation of foreign language communicative competence of students of non-language specialties in the process of independent work at the modern stage of development of intercultural communication. It is revealed that this technology is designed to give future specialists the opportunity to effectively participate in professional foreign-language communication to solve professional problems by means of native and non-native languages.
