This study examines the nutritional behavior and knowledge of young athletes and at the same time summarizes important information on healthy nutritional behavior. A quantitative survey was used to collect and analyze data on the participants’ daily food intake, nutritional knowledge and physical characteristics. The results show frequent deficits in the supply of energy and micronutrients as well as an excess of fat and sugar. The study emphasizes the importance of targeted nutritional strategies and education to promote healthy eating habits and athletic performance in young athletes.
