The aim of this study was to create a bioclimatic profile of the state of Sergipe for poultry farming, as a way of defining the limits of acceptability of the species to the environmental conditions prevailing in the state’s micro-regions. To do this, a historical survey was carried out of the average monthly temperature and relative humidity values over the last 61 years. Based on the climatic data, the monthly temperature and humidity index (ITU) was calculated for all the micro-regions of the state of Sergipe in order to diagnose the months with situations of thermal comfort and discomfort for poultry farming.
