Physical fitness and technical performance of professional futsal players

This work deals with the association between physical fitness variables and technical aspects during official futsal matches in the first division of the Rio Grande do Sul championship in 2015, evaluating professional athletes from a men’s futsal team in Rio Grande do Sul. The aim was also to analyse which of these technical aspects could be related to the final result of the matches. Physical tests and analysis of technical performance through scouts were carried out to obtain the results of the study. The research was carried out during the author’s master’s degree programme and her data made up the final dissertation.
