Indirect composite resins are dental restorative materials, similar to regular composite resins, but fabricated outside the mouth in a laboratory setting, allowing for greater control over the restoration’s shape and strength, typically used for larger tooth restorations like inlays, onlays, and overlays. These materials undergo additional curing with heat, light, and pressure, leading to enhanced physical properties like strength, wear resistance, and color stability.
