The texts presented recover emblematic projects configured throughout a first decade of interdisciplinary work initiated in 2013 that can be classified in two thematic lines: literature and indigenous languages and processes of education and indigenous migration. The criterion for presenting them was not to update certain data, for example, there are statistics or theories that could be rethought, but this decision supports the hypothesis that readers will measure the difference in the work of cultural and academic management by comparing, from their own experience, the current advantages in terms of tools, scope and results. They will find projects, results and experiences in processes of identity reflection in migrant indigenous youth, processes of reading and writing in Mexican indigenous languages, analysis of contemporary indigenous literature and the results of the cultural management project ’Atoctli, journalism and cultural management’, which gave rise to everything. The reading of these works is a window to the contemporary realities of Mexican indigenous groups, far from the tourist, paternalistic and romanticized views.
