Opportunities at the US Embassy

We live in a world where many believe that good intentions or good ideas are enough to succeed in life, or to bring about the positive change we desire.This book reminds us of the proverb ＂Qui veut aller loin ménage sa monture＂ (＂He who wishes to go far, spares his mount＂). This metaphor simply justifies the need for preparation in all things. Preparation in itself requires the right balance, movement and training or experienced guides (mentors) in the field. Opportunities at the U.S. Embassy＂ is a real guide to the concerns of young people who stand out from the crowd, young people who are looking to reframe themselves and make the right choices in order to participate in the positive change of our community first, and then elsewhere.- In today’s African communities, where unemployment, despair, neglect and declining levels of education abound, not to mention the street slogan ＂Let the youth fend for themselves＂, do you think it’s an easy thing to do; fend for yourself? I’m convinced of one thing: in life we always need one or more role models to get ahead.
