It uses infected machines to email itself to other users, corrupting files on computers as it goes. Within hours, millions of computers are affected, including those of UK, US government agencies and many other countries. Despite the threat it poses the cybercrime remains somewhat an invisible phenomenon. In carrying out their virtual attacks, offenders often mask their physical locations by hiding behind online nicknames and technical protections making it difficult for government and law enforcement agencies to have a clear understanding of the governance of the cybercrime across nations. This book aims to support public authorities and officials agencies to fight the most prominent cybercrime and Cybersecurity threats in the nation and also to contribute to the development of new cybercrime laws to anticipate the rise of major types of cybercrime across the nation.
