Russian military and Iran in the 1830s-1870s

The work is the first attempt in historiography to create a summary of Russian military trips to Iran in the 1830s - 1850s. It reveals the general tasks that the highest military authorities of Russia set before them, analyzes the tasks and activities of each of the expeditions. Special attention is paid to what exactly the officers were doing in Iran, what were the results of their work. The book will be of interest to scholars, as well as to all those interested in the military history of Russia and Iran.
