Geoprocessing in urban management and planning

Urban growth directly affects city infrastructure and the quality of life of the population. One solution to this situation is to understand the territorial characteristics of the region through geoprocessing techniques aligned with social indicators. However, the development of public policies is based on average indicators and alphanumeric information, calculated for neighbourhoods/municipalities, which hide the heterogeneity present within each territory.
