The aim of our work is to evaluate the four-step method of teaching basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This is a descriptive and analytical study carried out at Mahres Regional Hospital from February 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024, involving a group of nurses working in different departments.First, all nurses attended a lecture on basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (groups A and B).Second, some of them voluntarily participated in BLS training (group A). A questionnaire on BLS training was given to learners in group A, and a 10-question multiple-choice assessment was given to participants in groups A and B.A 10-question multiple-choice assessment on basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation revealed an average of 7.7 1.3 correct answers among learners in group A and an average of 4.3 1.3 among learners in group B, as well as a statistically significant difference between the two groups (p=0.01).
