This paper deals with the issue of moral harassment. It aims to investigate the extent to which moral harassment, as a mechanism for violating human rights, is present in military institutions, particularly in the Military Police of the State of Paraíba. Moral harassment, the main subject of our investigation, despite apparently being a new issue, is as old as the existence of work for humanity. However, what is new is its scope, severity, trivialization, and how the issue has been reported in the media, as well as the causal link to the world of work and, more recently, to the public service sector.
