History and theoretical approaches to political education in Austria

Political education has the task of identifying social positions and interests, assessing their political problems and subsequently being able to act. Political education and pre-vocational training contribute to social change. The increasing relevance and recommendation to implement political education in schools and adult education is intensifying interest in politics and education science.
