Study of Composite Materials Based on Local Basalts

The monograph is intended for scientists, doctoral students, graduate students, and researchers in technical and chemical specialties engaged in the study of basalt and basalt-like mineral raw material resources of Uzbekistan, aimed at developing mineral processing technology and organizing the production of products based on them. Basalt rocks from various deposits differ in their chemical and mineral composition, and obtaining lining thermal insulation materials of a certain quality requires different technological approaches and solutions. Therefore, it is necessary to develop criteria for the suitability of various basalts for the practice of basalt fiber production.
