加拿大英屬哥倫比亞大學(The University of British Columbia)教育碩士。曾於加拿大、日本、台灣等地教授ESL及商用英文。對於推動亞洲學生的英語學習不遺餘力,並受聘於香港政府,在中學擔任語言教學、課程設計和師資訓練的工作。
