This book centers on the concept of “Design for Good,” examining how visual communication design can respond to contemporary social issues while conveying public goodwill and ethical reflection. Through an issue-driven approach and strategies of symbolic translation, news events are transformed into actionable visual language, resulting in a series of 30 works addressing themes such as human rights, the environment, and education. The book establishes a design methodology that is both practicable and teachable, demonstrating the potential of design as a form of social intervention.
