This book has attempted to document the prominent indigenous games played by the Khasis and Jaintias tribes of Meghalaya, (India) in consultation with custodians and participants of this unique Indigenous knowledge. Various such indigenous games are described, step wise, accompanied by photographsto substantiate the text. A book of this nature would be of interest to indigenous and non-indigenous readers and is expected to pique the interest of social scientists and travellers. Additionally, it would go a long way in bringing visibility to the Khasi and Jaintia tribes of Meghalaya tribes.
