Bhagvadgita the sacred-song, is a Hindu poem with deep philosophy; spirituality and divinity embodied in it. Gandhi has often acknowledgedÿits profound effect on his life. TheÿBhagvad Gita is a part of the Mahabharata, comprised of 700 verses. The teacher of the Bhagavad Gita is Krishna, who is regarded by theÿHindus as the supreme manifestation of the Lord Himself.
