Roman Empire. Late 1st century AD.
On the northern fringes of Hispania, where Rome has yet to tame everything, a Roman legionary and an Asturian woman bind their destinies together. From that union will be born more than a family: a generation caught between two worlds.
The relocation of the population to Noega-the origin of modern-day Gijón-disrupts the balance of the region. While the fathers march to the front with the legions, the mothers hold the household together, and eight young people grow up too fast, learning to survive between Roman discipline and Cilúrnigan traditions.
Sea voyages, pirates, wise mentors, untamed animals, and a harsh land shape their upbringing. They are twelve-year-old children watching an adult world in which honor, friendship, loyalty, and love for Rome are tested every single day.
Romans and Cilúrnigans.
Identity, loyalty, and survival.
When one plus one is no longer two... but three.
Will they be able to achieve their goal without losing what defines them?
