Cabris, French Alpes-Maritimes. In Blanche’s small universe, among the fields of lavender and sunflowers, life goes on as if nothing should ever happen. Sixteen years old, open smile and fearless character, a rebellious soul, and a conflictual relationship with her mother. Blanche knows that life is bizarre, it weaves spider webs to bind people’s destinies to each other and creates bonds that sometimes resist, others fray, sometimes break, but at times go beyond time and distance, as happens many years later between herself and her grand-daughter Valentina. And it is at that moment that the truth comes out, because every family has a story to tell, a secret to hide or suffering that is transmitted by chance from mother to daughter.
