Israel Yearbook on Human Rights 2016

In sections on international humanitarian law, human rights, and special issues, studies look at such matters as a critical analysis of the report of the Human Rights’ Council Commission of Inquiry on the 2014 operation in the Gaze Strip, examining the non-governmental organization security discourse on urban warfare, expansion and the sources of international human rights law, assisted dying: the recent German legislation and its human rights context, the Syrian armed conflict and its singular characteristics, and towards minimum international human rights and humanitarian law standards in activities related to outer space: moving from grim start to more promising future on the final frontier.
