The Comedy Of Errors

One of William Shakespeare’s shortest and one of his most farcical comedies, The Comedy of Errors tells the story of two sets of identical twins that were accidentally separated at birth. Mistaken identity is the driving plot point of the play and is the foundation for most of the play’s humor and wordplay. Shakespeare combines adventure, the comedy of human folly, romance, and suspense in a play that can be said to be both clever and original and still popular today.
