This compiled pocketbook is based on recent research of autonomous ships and from my experience in the field of automation, control, and remote monitoring of both local and remotely located equipment and with vast systems on UMS ships too. It is intended to be a knowledge primer for the autonomous ships that will evolve over the next decade.
The Pocketbook Series was introduced because there is a changing trend in the way books are read today. The new normal is that readers and students prefer to read specific, and not so voluminous content, in the least time, as time comes at a premium these days.
