This book gives a glimpse of the islands and reflects their life and their healthy environment, in making the island sustainable and healthy habitation. This food industry has evolved from one stage to another in making this island not only self-sufficient but exemplary for the Mainland. Andaman Islands as a miniature of India not only have 51 more languages it has 256 identical cultural groups comprised in this Islands migrated from Mainland with their identical culture and practices. Apart from tourism and hotel industries the islander’s lifestyle and their food habits are incredible.


As a tourist and strangers, they look at it at the surface level and jump to a partial conclusion that the "hospitality sector" of Andaman Nicobar is the hub of foodies. Every people group has its food habits and some of them are exclusive of the island kind. Island is known for its cross-culturalism through acculturation so the inter-caste marriage system is another factor in exploring its blended culture. It is not only found in family values but in their basic things like foods the fusion of two and more cultural foods blended to make new varieties.


It is not just a taste or filling stomach for a hungry stomach but makes our world and our environment happy and healthy through this hospitality. The island is known for aqua-culture which gives a wide opportunity to explore varieties of seafood both sweet and saltwater fish. Andaman Nicobar Islands’ sea surface is 8,249 square kilometers it has an incredible faunal wealth as a hidden treasure. An unpolluted eco-system is one of the rarest of rare it kind. The new and emerging generation in the food and catering industry on the island has made many milestones.
