Many would call this book of poems as morbid, but Sarita explains it as a cry for help. Sarita was diagnosed with Bipolar very late in life (in her fifties). For a long time she did not know her depression, her anxiety, the challenges she faced making friends or having a social life had something to do with her mental health condition. Her need to be alone, her need to do her work according to her clock was something she could never explain to others as she was considered to be weird, alnd a loner who not have the social skill to fit. These poems were written when she was at her lowest and when she even contemplated to take her life as she did not fit in.
