Angela Krewani ============== Angela Krewani is a full professor for Media Studies at Philipps-Universität Marburg, with a special focus on the impact on digital media. She is interested in the epistemic, aesthetic, and cultural configurations of digital media. She has widely published on these topics; her latest publication Mediekunst. Theorie, Praxis, Ästhetik examines the practices and the developments within media art. Alena Strohmaier ================ Alena Strohmaier is project leader (postdoc) of the research project ’But I’m not filming, I’m just doing a bit of video’. Cinematic appropriation processes of protest videos from the Middle East and North Africa since 2009 at Philipps-Universität Marburg (funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research, 2019-2023). She did her PhD on films of the Iranian diaspora and initiated the scientific Open Media Studies Blog. Her recent publications include Medienraum Diaspora. Verortungen zeitgenössischer iransicher Diasporafilme (Springer VS, 2019); and The State of Post- Cinema. Tracing the Moving Image in the Age of Digital Dissemination, together with Malte Hagener and Vinzenz Hediger (Palgrave Macmillian, 2016).
