Chicago論文寫作格式：Turabian手冊 9/e

　　Chicago論文寫作格式出版至今，數十年來已幫助了各學科領域裡無數研究者與學生，能夠順利完成研究及論文的撰寫與提交。「芝加哥格式」又稱為「杜拉賓格式」（為了紀念原作者Kate L. Turabian），本書是為研究者示範「芝加哥格式」的權威工具書。

 

　　本書涵蓋從事研究與論文寫作的所有步驟，共分為三部分：第一部分概述研究與寫作的每個步驟，包括草擬與修改；第二部分全方位地解說兩種「芝加哥格式」的引註方法；最後一部分闡述寫作格式，以及呈現引述和圖像資料的正確方法。

　　Kate Larimore Turabian (February 26, 1893 – October 25, 1987) was an American educator who is best known for her book A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations. In 2013 the University of Chicago Press published the 8th edition of the book. The University of Chicago Press estimates that the various editions of this book have sold more than 8 million copies since its publication in 1937. A 2016 analysis of over one million college course syllabi found that Turabian was the most commonly assigned female author due to this book. 

 

　　Turabian was the graduate school dissertation secretary at the University of Chicago from 1930 to 1958.[1] The school required her approval for every master's thesis and doctoral dissertation. The various editions of her style guide present and closely follow the University of Chicago Press's Manual of Style ("Chicago style").

Her Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations and its associated style are referred to as "Turabian".
