中國古代詩人

During the past five thousand years of Chinese civilization, China has given brith to a large number of great poets. Among them are such gre at names as Chu Yuan, Li Po, Tu Fu, Pai Chu-i and Lu Yu. This book is written to introduce their lives. Chu Yuan lived in the State of Chu during the Warring States Period and is remembered for his strong patriotism and great achievement in literature. Li Po, Tu Fu and Pai Chu-i were the most famous poets from the Tang Dynasty: Li Po's poetry was courageousin spirit and unrestrained in emotion while Tu Fu's expressed the difficult life of the masses, faithfully reflecting the economic and political situation of that time. Pai Chu-i was one of the greatest realistic poets in Chinese literary history and was particularly skillful at long poems. Lu Yu was the greatest patriotic poet of the Southern Sung Dynasty. Even at his last years, he still dreamed of fighting the inv1ers and defending the country's boarders.
