Mohd. Salim Reshi is an assistant professor in the Department of Zoology at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, India. He completed his MSc and PhD in zoology from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India. His research primarily focuses on toxicology, pharmacology, nanobiotechnology, and cancer prevention. His studies include investigating the effects of gold and silver nanoparticles on cancer and hepato-renal disorders. He has received several prestigious awards, including the Young Scientist Award and the Postgraduate Scientist Award in recognition of his contributions to the field. His work has been published in high-impact journals, such as Cells, Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, and Viruses, and he has also authored numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed papers. Dr Reshi has secured research grants from notable agencies, including the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC), to support his innovative projects. In addition to his research activities, he is an active member of various scientific organizations and serves on the editorial boards of several national and international journals. His contributions to science and education continue to inspire and advance the field of biosciences.

Darakhshan Javaid is pursuing her PhD under the guidance of Dr Reshi in the Toxicology and Pharmacology Laboratory at the School of Biosciences and Biotechnology of BGSBU. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Government Degree College for Women, Anantnag, and completed her master’s degree at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Her doctoral research focuses on the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles and their efficacy against breast cancer. In addition to her research, she has published numerous papers in esteemed journals and has actively participated in several national and international conferences.

Syed Sanober Qadri completed her master’s degree from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. After her master’s studies, she embarked on her PhD journey under the guidance of Dr Reshi in the Toxicology and Pharmacology Laboratory at the School of Biosciences and Biotechnology of BGSBU. Her research focuses on exploring the hepatoprotective efficacy of plant metabolites and metallic nanoparticles. She has published papers in esteemed journals and has actively participated in several national and international conferences.

Neelu Sinha is an assistant professor of biochemistry at the School of Life Sciences, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra (UP). She earned her MSc and PhD in biochemistry from the School of Studies in Zoology at Jiwaji University. She received a research fellowship from the UGC, New Delhi, a fellowship for Young Scientist Training, and an international travel grant from the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal. Dr Sinha has an impressive research portfolio, and she has authored nine research papers (eight international and one national) and a book chapter. Her scholarly pursuits extend beyond publications, as she actively participates in conferences, workshops, seminars, and webinars. Notably, she enhanced her research skills during a visit to Bangkok, Thailand. Her interests span liver protection and toxicology, reflecting her commitment to advancing scientific knowledge. Beyond her academic pursuits, Dr Sinha has received the Award of Excellence as college coordinator in the Regional Science Quiz organized by BCPS College, Gwalior.
