Subrata Borgohain Gogoi is dean of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Energy and professor in the Department of Petroleum Technology at Dibrugarh University, Assam, India. With a PhD in petroleum technology and over three decades of academic and research excellence, her expertise includes enhanced oil recovery, oilfield-produced water treatment, and rheology. She has led numerous national and international research projects, including collaborations with the United States, Canada, Tunisia, and the United Kingdom. She holds 14 patents in innovative technologies. Dr Gogoi has successfully supervised 16 PhD scholars and has an impressive publication record, with over 85 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, 14 book chapters, more than 50 papers in technical proceedings, and 3 published books. Her outstanding contributions to research and teaching have earned her multiple awards, and she actively participates in professional organizations. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for leading international journals, significantly advancing petroleum technology and environmental sustainability.
