Towards an Integrated Environmental Permit in China: A Legal Study Based on EU Regulatory Experiences

Xiheng Chen got her doctorate degree in January 2023 at the Maastricht Sustainability Institute (MSI), Maastricht University, and got another doctorate degree in August 2023 at Faculty of Law, Sun Yat-sen University. She started in 2014 with studying environmental law. Since then, she has been focusing on understanding how an integrated approach to environmental protection can be effectively and efficiently reached based on the rule of law. She has published several articles in CSSCI regarding China’s emissions permit system, including Institutional Foundation and Barriers for Implementing Integrated Emissions Permit System, Emissions Permit System in the Development of Modern Environmental Governance System in China, etc.
