水墨變相─現代水墨在台灣

「水墨變相──現代水墨在台灣」，從歷史角度整理出發的專題展，意在呈現這個特殊的創作路向，在戰後台灣形成的各個面向及成果；同時也希望呈顯台灣現代水墨仍在持續進行、開展的潛在事實。本展由蕭瓊瑞先生擔任策展，邀請戰後台灣水墨畫家為參展對象，從余承堯到黃慧欣，計有五十八位藝術家的五十八組件氣勢磅礡的作品，以史觀點串聯台灣老中青各個世代水墨畫家，構築一道堅實的水墨脈絡與容顏。
In Taiwanese art history, the term “modern ink painting” carries a specific connotation and allusion. On a certain level the term implies a schism with traditional ink painting. But this child was basically not borne of traditional ink painting techniques or the use of brush and as its foundation. To a significant degree, she is the child of modern Western art, in particular starting with the concepts of abstract painting, focusing on composition and simplicity of form, even emphasizing stylistic breakthroughs and experimental media manipulation.
