作者簡介

宋安東尼　Anthony Soames

　　出生於英國，在法國長大，19歲時移居台灣，在台定居近30年，隨著女兒及孫子在台中出生，台灣早已成為他引以為傲的家鄉。
 
　　他與摰愛的台灣妻子，多年來在撫養女兒的過程中，遇到許多育兒文化差異的挑戰。身為祖父的Anthony認為，現今台灣的年輕父母雖然能夠大方、公開地表達自己的愛，但仍遠遠不夠。
 
　　孩子們需要學習，讚揚、接納每個人都能擁有文化、身體、家庭、背景等各種不同的差異，尤其是台灣正積極地與世界創造連結，在國際間伸出友誼之手的此時。

　　而可愛的孫子，則是激發他著手創造 Cabbage and Tyler 系列故事的契機。

　　Anthony深信，幼兒時期是塑造孩子一生的關鍵時期。透過不同的角色、故事設定，能讓孩子學習文化、不同個體的多元性，以及更多的包容、擁抱與愛。

　　Author and co-creator, Grandpa Anthony, has been living in Taiwan for almost 30 years now. He calls Taichung his home. Taichung is also the birthplace of his daughter and now his grandson. For the best part of the last 20 years, Anthony has always wanted to write children stories for his daughter. Two years ago, his daughter gave birth to his grandson. Inspired by his adorable grandson, Anthony began writing the Cabbage and Tyler series.

　　Anthony draws his inspiration from his many years living in Taiwan. He focuses on values that are dear to him and relevant to Taiwan; Diversity, love & friendship and the environment.
