　　Richard Hill Davis is a transplant American who has lived for over 20 years in Taiwan. He is an associate professor at Feng Chia University in Taichung, Taiwan. He teaches out of the Foreign Language Center at the university and is the extensive reading coordinator. He is a specialist in English for Specific Purposes and English Language teaching. He earned his PhD. from Glasgow University. He gives many speeches and workshops yearly on pedagogical advances and classroom management. He loves his cat very much.
