　　Active Kids English是作者Andrew Evans根據多年的實務教學經驗，專為台灣小朋友所設計的美語教材，以誘導的方式讓孩童輕鬆學美語，旨在幫助非英語系國家的學生學好英文。

本書特色

　　本教材共二大部份，主要部份分為六冊(1~6)，再加另外幼兒園Starter A/B 二冊。合計八冊。每冊均附有CD，偶數冊中的第一單元為複習單元。本系列課程設計以溝通式教學法為原則，配合TPR(肢體反應教學法)教學技巧，首重聽說方面能力的培養，讀寫為輔，並非只是機械式的複誦句型而已。此外，本書內容活潑，主題生活化，可以讓學生藉由周邊熟悉的事物，達到學習的目的。每課新學的語言技巧，並為學生奠定良好的英文基礎。

　　Stater A/B二冊，針對學齡前的幼兒編寫，以TPR(肢體反應教學法)為基礎。讓老師可以帶著小朋友練習肢體活動、兒歌唱謠、基礎句型與自然發音。

　　之後可以直接銜接上Active Kids English 1~6冊為教材。強加英語學習的聽說讀寫語言技巧。

　　A Canadian teacher, program manager and writer with seven years of experience in Taiwanese elementary schools, holds a BA in Communications from Simon Fraser University.
