In short, this is how I used to be, what happened, and what I’m like now. IYKYK. I’m still a work in progress, but this is my story of a lot of what I’ve been thru and how I got thru it and came out on the other side still standing. It is raw and honest, mistakes and bad choices and all. Honestly, I never thought I would live to see 21 and if I’m really being honest, most of the time I prayed I wouldn’t. If you can relate and have trauma such as sexual assault, addiction, abusive relationships, incarceration, criminal activity, suicide attempts, mental illness, and more, or if you are currently struggling thru any of these things, this is the book for you. It could offer you just a little bit of hope that you are not alone and you have a chance to make something of your life. Remember, someone out there loves you and wants you to make it, even if you don’t think so. If no one else does, I do.
