You may have heard of the Comstock Windmill Festival or Comstock Rock or even Godstock. Share in the behind the scenes successes and failures of the man with the idea and the determination, faith, friends and fortitude to make it all happen.
Back in 1999, it started as a little concert in a pasture near a very small Nebraska town. The Comstock Windmill Festival grew into a 23-year series of music festivals that filled the county with thousands of people, hundreds of RV’s and dozens of performers for several weekends each summer. Comstock Windmill Festival brought in first class country artists and bands. Comstock Rock was added as a second summer concert. Godstock and Harvest Festival concerts came later. Headliners included Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Charlie Daniels, Alice Cooper, Peter Frampton, Steppenwolf, Alabama, Kansas and more. Many soon to be big stars and many already big stars entertained families and friends gathered together for a really good time under the starry, but sometimes stormy, skies of Nebraska.
