Kiss the skeleton to enter
the dark play
of piano on muted flute.

As passion throws
the shadow of doubt;
for asleep you must
rush to the fire.

in the two empty

Strongly influenced by Russian, Chinese, Tamil and Indo-Malaysian verse, this book will delight and cause disquiet at the same time.
Set in Australia at such places as Balmain, Kings Cross and Fremantle (as well as exploration of the desert in-between)
It covers many aspects of love; as well as the pain of it’s loss. It also has a war poem, poems concerning Aborigines and intimate discussions on madness.
Moving through the different experiences of Kennedy’s life you will find joy and sadness, as every poem is picture of a life truly lived.
