About the Author
Tammy Breeden, RN, is an author, speaker, licensed minister, and the founder of Living in Harmony Ministries, a faith-based nonprofit serving incarcerated women and those seeking Christ-centered healing and recovery.
With over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, Tammy brings a compassionate, trauma-informed perspective to both her writing and ministry. For nearly a decade, she has faithfully served inside local jails, where she has baptized over 200 women and walked alongside countless others on their journey toward healing, hope, and restoration.
Tammy’s life story is one of God’s gentle faithfulness through pain, loss, and redemption. Through her writing and ministry, she seeks to remind broken women everywhere that God is still near - and that even on the darkest roads, His light is enough to keep going.
Touches of Light
On the Dark Road to Living in Harmony
What if the darkest seasons of your life were not proof of God’s absence -
but places where His light quietly carried you through?
In Touches of Light, Tammy Breeden shares true, deeply personal God-moments from her life - moments of comfort, protection, healing, and reassurance that came when she needed them most. Through grief, physical pain, spiritual questioning, and seasons of deep loss, God met her again and again with gentle reminders of His nearness.
This book is not about having all the answers.
It is about remembering the light we are given along the way.
Written in a devotional style with Scripture and reflection, Touches of Light invites readers to pause, reflect, and recognize their own sacred moments of God’s presence - so hope is never lost, even when life feels unfinished.
You may not reach living in harmony in this lifetime.
But God, in His mercy, gives enough light to keep going.
